Racemax Rival AXS 2x Gravel Bike

The 3T Racemax Rival AXS 2x Gravel Bike looks and rides like a road bike but is actually a gravel-grinder built to rip down off-road trails with the same speed and control as our race bike. By placing us in an aerodynamic, powerful position in the front with a comfortable rear-end design, the perfect combination of long-distance comfort and quick power is a deadly weapon on the gravel course. Though designed to be at its fastest while using 35-46mm tires, 90% of the aerodynamic advantage of the frameset stays with tires up to 61mm. This is thanks to having no gap between the front tire and the downtube, increasing airflow, and redirecting the wind from the front tire to the downtube neck. The big steerer inside of the narrow headtube also helps minimize drag, while the road-length fork increases stiffness and steering geometry. 

To help us rip down the gravel trail as fast as possible, 3T spec’d this Racemax model with SRAM’s Rival AXS 2 x 12-speed drivetrain to provide efficient wireless shifting and trustworthy braking performance. We love the combination of the 46/33t chainrings and 10-36t cassette for the variety of gearing ratios it provides, allowing us to tackle any terrain that comes our way, and the hydraulic disc brakes that provide crisp, accurate stops at a moment’s notice. And, with the Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 wheelset set up with Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M tires, we are ready to roll fast with unmatched traction over any surface.
