As an aero-fitting, windproof, water-resistant, packable shell with light-reflective microscopic sphere particles, it's hard to overlook the Assos Equipe RS Clima Capsule Jacket as an essential piece of cycling kit to help you attack winter head-on. It's designed to be worn whenever needed and pack down into a jersey pocket or stow-bag with ease; however, the Alleycat — as it's known internally at Assos — is intended to pack into the rear pocket of Assos' Equipe RS Clima Capsule Jacket. The Clima uses a fully windproof and water-resistant construction, in which Assos masterfully layers on techy fabrics where you need it most. The upper half of the Clima features Assos' Silver Haze, a two-layer fabric with microscopic spherical particles that are highly-reflective when hit with direct light. And the lower half and rear panels use woven Yubari fabric that is soft and breathable to prevent overheating when you're pushing hard on the pedals. Assos takes it a step further and uses Push Pull fabric on the forearms — running behind the elbow bend — and side panels. This gives the Clima freedom to conform to you in super aero-tucks and aggressive riding positions without having your elbow pull on the fabric uncomfortably.

Assos cuts the Clima to be aeroFit and perform to your expectations in racing and on hard training missions. A two-way zipper micro-tunes insulation and eases snack grabs in your jersey pockets, and a tall reflective stripe runs the length of the back panel for added low-light visibility.
