The Grip is No Joke

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I have had numerous water shoes. I've always preferred them to sandals since I don't have to worry about sunburn on my feet. Plus more protection in general. These shoes are hands down the best water shoes I've ever had. On a few occasions, I have faired better than my friends who wear Teva's. Largely due to the fact that these excel at grip. On both dry and wet surfaces. Now, these aren't perfect, what shoe is. I was on very slippery mossy rocks and I was slipping however I was surprised that it wasn't worse. The extra shoelace hole at the top allows you to tighten them down to prevent rocks from getting in the shoes. I found this worked pretty well, the occasional pebble would get in. I had to be careful with tightening them. If I over tightened my foot would lose blood flow. But that's just a matter of where you choose to tighten the shoes and how your foot is shaped. These shoes didn't seem to dry exceptionally fast, but I did find they weren't uncomfortable while hiking in them when wet. I have gotten any blisters or even sore spots from them yet. I have hiked 3 miles in them wet and been fine. I even walked through some very muddy conditions and loose wet sand and been fine. The sand can still get in the shoe but it didn't cause that much discomfort. Overall fantastic water shoe. Perfect for short hike where you want to be able to walk/wade in water. In my opinion they are just if not more grippy than hiking shoes on wet and dry land. The only reason I would choose a hiking shoe over this is if I wanted additional support and protection and I wasn't wanting to get my feet wet.

Most Breathable on the market

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

For warm weather these are seriously hard to beat. The mesh all along the shoe let’s the air in and when wet these dry extremely fast, like couple hours to be completely dry. They definitely don’t retain water. The grip is better than expected and the tread amazingly works (grips) on trail and off. The only real con I found to the shoe was the fit was a bit sloppy since it has wide toe box I had to really crank it down. Even using my true shoe size wondered if half size down would be perfect. Fit is very personal but try your true size first. I think these are some underrated shoes that look good on or off trail and in casual use.
