These are my first Columbia hiking shoes and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the shoe. I have used Merrell for years but became dissatisfied with their boots after buying different styles and decided to branch out. These Columbia's are better priced, are super comfy, are lightweight and look classic! I was worried that they might rub at the ankle but was was pleasantly surprised that they fit like a glove with no discomfort.
