Go with largest size measurement

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
25mm
Weight:
170

I measured as medium for the upper measurement for the knee and elbow pads and as large for the lower measurement for each. I went with the large and am glad I did. I wear these mainly for lift-served downhill riding. If I were to use them for normal rides, I'd pull them down for the climbs and put them in place for extended downhill sections. They saved me the first time out. Two times down one run on some steep sharp corners my bike slid out and I ended up sliding on my knees and elbows. No abrasions, not even a bruise. Without the pads, I'm sure I would have come away with bad, bleeding abrasions.

Heed the advice and order a size up

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I disregarded reviews recommending ordering a size larger. I should have listened. The measurements listed are incorrect. After exchanging for a large (I'm 5'11", 160-ish, lean build), I started using the pads immediately. Yes, you'll sweat in them, but they've stayed up on my arms (still a little snug, but not overly tight). I have had one minor crash since using them, and I landed on my elbow at an angle. They worked as advertised. For the price, and for not having adjustable forearm and biceps sections, they're a good buy.

Good quality but runs small

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

They seem pretty well made but run very small. I am 5’7”, weigh 150 lbs with an average build...not skinny but not crazy muscular. I ordered a size medium and could barely get it Up over my elbow. Super tight and just too uncomfortable to even try the other arm. Sending back for a size large which seems crazy as I don’t wear a size large in anything. Unless you have very skinny arms I would go up a size.
