Exactly the size I didn’t know I needed

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I bought this because my partner and I were going on our first camping trip together, and he didn’t have a sleeping pad. I bought the medium size and had an immediate butt-clench, “this is too small” moment until it arrived and I set it up in the living room for a trial run. That “trial run” lasted a week. I’ve been house-sitting for a couple months, and this pad gave me a better sleep on the floor than the bed. As someone used to sleeping on a queen bed at home, this is actually a really comfy “solo” mat. I’m 5’4”, and have a tendency to burrow on a good night, so scooting down the mat and having my feet dangle off the bottom is comforting. I’m also on the round end of the spectrum, but my partner (5’6”) and I were able to sleep comfortably and NOT on top of each other during our trip to the redwoods. It probably got down into the mid-40s overnight, and between the mat and the doubled sleeping bags we were warm enough. I definitely feel like the mat reflects heat back toward the body. It’s also been great to have a spare spare bed. My brother came to visit with an injured back and was unable to sleep on an actual bed, but the mat provides enough that he was able to use it on the floor during his stay.
