I bought this to use in our roof top tent and it is just a game changer. Hands down best sleep I’ve ever gotten while camping using this pad. The inflate and deflate process is quick and easy, rolls up easily and super comfortable. Highly recommended!

No need to lose sleep crammed on a small camping pad worried about ending up on the ground. The Megamat will get you stoked to get out there although you may not want to get out of bed..

My partner and I had a horrible experience with an REI brand double camping mattress. After a two and a half week road trip we swore these things off and returned to our lightweight backpacking mattresses while car camping. After doing some research and reading the rave reviews on backcountry.com for this bad lad, we pulled the trigger. "Buy it nice or buy it twice" is the adage to live by when purchasing gear. Don't mess around and spend the money, especially for good sleep! The issues we had with our REI mattress (cold, pain in the a** to inflate, like sleeping on a trampoline with a partner) did not exist with the Exped. We followed the instructions and left inflated for 24 hours at home before our camping trip. When we arrived at the site, we set up our tent and left the pad in there with the inflation valve open. To my surprise, when we were ready for sleep, I only had to give the thing 3 pumps with the air pump (which is really small and well designed)! It was in the low 30's at night and we were incredibly insulated from the ground. Cherry on top was of course the incredible comfort and great night sleep that rivals the zzz's I get at home. The nice foam topper on the pad is a dream. I slept on my side most the night, something I have never accomplished with a camping mattress before and I felt minimal movement from my man next to me. I purchased this for car/boat camping and as a spare mattress for guests. After the initial break in it inflates on its own in no time. This is one of the most comfortable self inflating mattresses I have used. Deflation and pack up is easy and despite its inflated size, it packs up fairly small and doesn’t weigh very much. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
