Why We Like The Niad VCS Climbing Shoe

If our route has more than three pitches, we strap on Five Ten's Niad VCS Climbing Shoe to keep our feet happy for a day on the wall. The unlined upper lets our feet breathe while providing weather-resistance, durability, and buttery smooth softness no matter how cold it gets at the crag. Since the microfiber upper doesn't deform with age like leather, we easily get three resoles out of every pair.

Runs small

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

My size 11 EEEE feet absolutely unable to get into the size 11. Not sure what to make of climbers suggesting purchasing undersized shoes, hoping to have them stretch, but the size 12 (for wide feet) Butora Gomi's still cause all small toes to curl downward. Using stretchers and heat gun on those. 12 1/2 might have been the correct choice.
