Fjallhaven Singi Trekking Cap
I really like this cap - I bought two already, in olive and in dark blue, and have just ordered a third, in black. It is finely made. The shape covers my head well, especially in the back, and it holds its shape, including the visor. Fading has been minimal. My only concern is the back adjustment. For a more formal, fitted look I have avoided the baseball-type cap with the semi-circular cut-out and the adjustment strap. This cap has two snaps 28mm apart, and no cut-out. If the tighter one is chosen, the back of the cap bunches up terribly. Better to measure your head carefully and order the correct size, as you will not like tightening it up. I too bristled when I noticed the Chinese origin of this Swedish cap with the exotic name. It has long been customary to fabricate in a country with the lowest labor costs, which evolves over the years. I do wish that all the internet sellers would show the country of origin, and not simply say "imported" - we are not standing in a store with the item in hand. Lastly, look closely at the widely varying number of millimeters between the sizes in that pop-up. Backcountry could not explain this puzzle, and it remains so a year later. I had to ask the representative to measure the inside circumference of the band to avoid a mistake.

Great hat
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Love the lightness of this cap. Adds practically no weight when packing. Gives you all the protection you need from sun. Short brim gives unobstructed view when scrambling up rocks in the Shenandoah’s.
