Why We Like The Transfer Factory Dropper Seatpost
The Transfer Factory Dropper is Fox's top-of-the-line dropper post, providing exceptional reliability on the trail, as well as buttery-smooth operation thanks to its Kashima-coated stanchions. Building upon the success of the original, the new Transfer gets lighter and more compact, and it's now easier than ever to perform a service. The insertion length is a whopping 30 - 50mm shorter than the original, allowing many riders to opt for a longer travel post, especially if their previous one was bottoming out in the frame.

Lasted about 4 weeks
When it was working it was excellent. I was riding 10-14 hours a week on the post. I ordered this in June (2021), had my LBS warranty it with Fox in July, got it back in August, just dropped it off again (September) for another warranty to Fox. Issue is the same, the post doesn't return to its raised position. You have to hold the dropper lever then lift it up manually. This second go around, along with not returning to its raised position after about 40-50 hours of riding, the seal and spring around it at the top worked its way through the collar and up the seat post. I am not really sure what is going on to have the issue repeat after four weeks, but to have to submit it for a second warranty for the same complaint in three months is frustrating. I would not recommend this.

This is the smoothest, best looking dropper on the market. I wanted it to match my factory suspension, and the other dropper i have was constantly needing service or repair...this one is the best, hands down. The saddle mounting bolt setup is super nice too and not like others I've used.
