Worth the Price

I have two pair — one bought ten years ago, and one bought last season (with a PSIA discount). The old pair has a tiny tear in the gauntlet where there must have been a fault in the leather, but the seams are tight and perfect, palms and fingers are intact. I use it as an all-round work glove, now (stacking wood, snow blowing, shoveling) and for hiking in the winter woods — it should last many years still. The newer pair I ski in. They're warm for a glove; My hands run cold, but these were fine in the teens and below, with a hand warmer stuffed in (no hand warmer pocket, btw). I have a normal palm with shortish fingers; size 8 is perfect for me (they call it a "large," but . . .) Did I mention you can replace the liners indefinitely? I'd buy them again, but unfortunately (!) they seem not to wear out, a beautiful, hard-wearing, high-quality glove. Some expensive things are worth the money.

Money Well Spent

I am always hesitant to purchase high ticket items. (this may not be high ticket gloves to some people) I did a lot of research, as everyone should do, and came across Hestra. Finally, I settled on the Falt Guide Glove due to its versitile nature. I bought these in Feb. 2019 and haven't had to deal with cold numb hands since. They are rugged and haven't shown much abrasion at all from winter backpacking and snowboarding usage.

These are a great all around glove. Very durable, dextrous, and warm.
