Why We Like The Julbo Vermont Classic Spectron 3 Sunglasses
While big names steadily dropped out of the glacier glasses game in recent decades, Julbo remained one of the staunch suppliers of the frames it pioneered. Originally developed to help mineral seekers track down treasure on the blinding slopes of Mont Blanc, the Vermont Classic Sunglasses are back to help Julbo celebrate the brand's 125 years of outdoor sunnies. Whether we're gearing up for a mountaineering trip or a hiker with longstanding awe and respect for the frames, we always grab a pair before heading into the mountains.

Love the classic style
I LIVE in these glasses when I'm mountaineering, on glaciers all day, and even day-touring. I also LOVE the retro, original style, and the history behind it. 100% recommend.

disappointed to say the least
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've had the cheaper sherpa version of the julbos. And i absolutely loved them, a pair i'd have to this day, if i hadn't last them. But these glasses were shipped in a bag, the box was ripped and crushed that contained the glasses in that bag, and there is no logo with the spectron 3 on the lens, the "adjustable " temples, are simple not that. With the exception of the leather side shields, none of it feels on par with the $50 sherpa's i had years ago. And shipping a pair of $149 glasses that don't have a case (sherpa's had a tuff and practical case, as well as a neck lanyard so you don't loses your glasses while taking them off) and a very light weight cardboard box that was clearly not tuff enough to handle a 3 day trip. All i can say is why would you ship them like this? From a customer service standpoint, I'm very disappointed and will be looking anywhere else before i buy here again. And then i have to pay to return them. Im sorry i read the better business bureau and the reviews there you explanation as to why you handle returns in this way is ridiculous imho. This is only the second place I've shopped online that does this. But its your business and if you want to lose customers over shipping labels, then thats your call. I will be returning the glasses in a better more protected box than you shipped to me in. Please is anything stop shipping glasses in BAGS! dont know if you guys know this but most packages at some point get handled kind of ruff at some point on their journey. It would benefit your customers and your business to stop this practice. Disappointed and extream hesitant to order from you again Lcalrizzi
