Why We Like The Newport H2 Sandal
Even in a well-maintained boat sans holes, your chances of getting your feet wet are extremely good. Enter the Keen Newport H2 Sandal with a design that protects your toes and a non-marking sole to keep the deck clean. A fully synthetic upper puts hydrophobic material against your skin and keeps it dry. The Newport H2's hybrid shoe/sandal design is more comfortable than a full shoe and protects your foot better than a sandal. The unique anatomical outsole gives superb traction and support on sea and land, and an antibacterial footbed controls moisture and keeps the stank under control.

Disappointing Design/Quality
I'd never owned Keen footwear before, but I was excited about trying out some sandals. The fit wasn't quite what I was hoping for even though the size was right. I think they would have broken in okay, and quickly, but a bigger problem became evident the second time I went to slip them on. The neoprene inner layer was already starting to tear away at the stitching! I don't know if this was due to poor quality or poor design (i.e., too much stress in that area), but either way, it was unacceptable. My three-year-old Tevas, for all the wear and tear they've suffered, are holding up better in that respect!

Runs Small

You'll have a hernia putting these on they are small! I ordered an 11, my normal shoe size with no socks on I can barely get them on without a major struggle. They also make my feet numb. Disappointed.

Just got these and love them already. I have a low volume/profile foot (bony) wide forefoot, narrow heel and average arches. I was able to use the toggle cord to lock in the fit. Although the heel straps seemed a wee bit loose, when my feet swell in the heat...the extra room shouldn't be a problem the arch support is nice and soles look solid. Will know more when I test them out this weekend. I usually wear men's 9.5-10 and got these in 10.5 based upon reviews. Fit is great in lenght, width and volume. Someone with a bigger/meater foot should fit well in them as well.
