Perfect for wide, flat feet.
I have several pairs of Keen safety boots for work, so I know their wide boot options fit my flat, wide feet very nicely. These have plenty of room in both the toe box and the heel area. I like to size my Keen shoes down a half size. After3 hikes, these boots feel very comfortable and already feel broken in. Ive always loved the toe cap on Keen boots as that is typically the point of failure of most of my boots, the toe separating from the sole. If they had one more hook near the ankle area I would love that so I can really tighten them up near the ankle. Very happy with this purchase.

so far so good

I'm in the Michigan U.P. and needed a kick around work/home light boot for the winter when I don't need my heavy boots. I have wide feet with a narrow heel and broke a small toe earlier this year. The Keen boots fit fine, nice and snug in back with plenty of room in the toes. I work on a tile and concrete floor all day. As long as I lace them up a little loose, my feet feel fine for the day. The break in period was only a few days. So far the only downside is kneeling on the floor and having the toe cap dig into the top of the toes. Its getting less noticeable over time as the boots begin to wear. Similar to a construction work boot with steel toes. We only have about a foot or so of snow on the ground right now. I've worn these through the woods while walking the dog and my feet have stayed dry. Everything is iced up so no real "water" but so far so good. I spent almost 3 hours running the snow blower and plow on the quad. It was in the low 20's and my feet eventually got cold but did not get wet. They were easier to slip on than my packs and worked just fine.

Great boot for hiking

I have had these boots for about 6 weeks and put roughly 8-10 miles on them 5-6 times a week. While they were not quite as wide as I would have preferred, the lacing system allows for me to leave them a bit looser over the toes and make up for it. They are overall very comfortable and supportive with a light load in my pack. They are flexible and certainly not anything I would wear backpacking with loads of 25 - 50lbs, but for my daily treks on the trails, they are perfect. I can attest that they are waterproof as I have spent many hours wearing them while hiking on wet trails, in rain soaked fields and on muddy hills and my feet have remained dry and comfortable. The laces are rugged and long enough without being too long. I will be curious to see how they handle winter weather and my MicroSpikes. I’ll update this review in a few months once snow is on the ground.
