Why We Like The Trekr Pant

The Trekrs are built with flexible, durable fabric for taking on rough hikes, some that might even include the spontaneous bushwhacking. These pants convert from long pants to airy capri for when the trails are a little more forgiving.

First disappointment with Kuhl

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have several pair of Kuhl pants, several tops, etc. This is the first time I've been disappointed in their product. I am 5'5" and the pants were to long. The inseam hangs low, making it uncomfortable for hiking. Yes, they have a cinch string but you have to pull them up by putting your hands in your pants, not from the ankle. The cinch pulls from the outside only, and I prefer to keep my boot covered for many reasons. My main problem is the zip pocket on the side of the leg is too low for someone my height. It is not on the thigh as pictured. When I put a phone in the pocket, the phone slides around to the back of my knee, making it difficult to bend the knee. I love the gray color and back pockets are flattering. I still love this brand and but just not these pants.
