My new work shoe.

I had seen a few of the older guys I know who are builders wearing these, I have always worn big old work boots, they had been too hard on my feet and after decades of wearing them, I finally had to throw in the towel. I bought a pair of these and gave into the whole.."I am getting old" mentality. I have been wearing them for about a year and bought a second pair from Backcountry that just showed up. I am hard on shoes and boots, for the most part, I will say these have held up well. I have worn the soles down on the forefoot smooth and the front nose was just starting to peel away on the old pair. The leather and the liner has done well. I am going to switch off between the two pairs and use the old ones for the days where I beat them up worse. A pair of shoes a year is fine with me. Plus, not having to deal with laces is kinda nice when meeting with new clients and having to remove my shoes when going in their homes. I added superfeet insoles and that helped the fit be much better. They aren't fashionable but for work, they work just fine for me and allow my to be on my feet for more hours before I have achy feet.
