Some definite strangeness in them.

I am a standard 34 x 30 in MHW pants, that is why I have so many pants from them. These verge on being weird in the sizing for me, I would repeat what others have to say about them in the fit. A little long in the crotch, making a weird horizontal bunching running across your junk, the front pockets are much deeper than other pants from MHW, I would say about 1 1/2" deeper than most, which is noticeable as soon as you reach in them, or have anything in them, you notice the feeling on the top of your thighs from anything you put in them such as keys. I also get the tightness through the knees and thighs, especially when lifting either knee up. I like the zippered back pockets and the slimness of the legs, but I can see these pants not working for more muscular individuals. The material is thicker than most of the other pants I have from MHW, which I like, I am not hating them, or in love with them, if you can get them on sale, that is worth a try, but also don't be disappointed if you have to return them because of the fit.

I like the pants, fit pretty true to size. My only issue is they feel tight in the thighs. Love the pants, great fit around waist and legs, just tight in the thigh area.

These pants look great, fit great, and are stretchy. Unfortunately, they fade as soon as you wash them, the front button lost it's black finish nearly immediately. Finally, they are not durable for use as climbing pants. Ive put a lot of holes in them already despite only using them a few times. They are better for commuting, and maybe hitting the gym but not the crag.

Not quite a Classic Fit

I would definitely put these in the slim/straight pant category. I've been trying to find a pair of pants for my boyfriend that are a relaxed or classic fit and more athletic and these fit him like skinny pants. Looked straight out of a Fall Out Boy music video. For reference, he is 5'7", 155lb, 28" waist and athletic. The waist and hips fit him perfectly, so it was not the size. Also, Black Sage is much more green than black.

ROTTEN FABRIC in <6 months
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

The fabric collects lint unlike any clothing item I have ever owned. The only thing I know that collects lint better is a commercial lint roller. But more critically, after less than 6 months of owning the pants, they literally fell apart. First, a large hole formed near a pocket, where the fabric just disintegrated. Next, a pocket corner seam split. Further, the black paint of the waist button rapidly wore off. Ultimately, despite washing these pants in gentle cycle along with my woolen clothing and air-drying them, in under 6 months the fabric was completely rotten, such that a hole could be torn into the fabric with moderate pressure of a thumb, and the fabric could easily be shredded with a mild strength grip-and-pull. By far the worst experience I have ever had with any product marketed to "outdoor" enthusiasts.

Uh...Waist?
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Not many people wrote here about the waist sizing. I ordered a 32x30 after knowing ALL of my other pants that are that size fit perfect. Seriously, maybe they put the wrong label on these because they seem more like 34x30. Cant even wear without a belt as they will slide down my legs.
