Strike Igniter
Flick the Strike Igniter from MSR and sparks will be flying before you know it. This lightweight, weather-resistant igniter can light canister or liquid fuel stoves in no time. Small enough to fit on a key chain, yet serious enough to produce 5500° F sparks, this little fellow will join you for any camping trip where matches are either too dangerous or not viable. Its lifespan extends well over 3,000 sparks so you'll be cooking with the Strike Igniter for years to come. Oh, and did we mention the bottle-opener? Priorities, priorities.

only one side
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
only one side creates the little fire light. The other side is useless...I really can't start a fire with that side. I guess that side is supposed to be a beer opener, but it is also hard to open a beer. Alcohol increases higher chance of mountain sickness in high altitude, so I don't drink when I am there. Hopefully this two sticks don't fail me in a raining day when I need to start fire to boil water.
