The perfect weight layer under my anorak for most every day. Not too hot, not too cool. Helps cut the chill on windy days. Very low profile, doesn't feel bulky or bunch up. Also perfect over a base layer when touring. Packs super small and light. Easy addition to your pack. Pair with stubbly beard and people will mistake you for a mountain guide... which isn't bad.
