I have had several of the medium weight down jackets from OR and they have all been my go to insulation when ski hiking. The Outdoor ResearchHelium Down has kept the tradition of great fit, proper weight and warmth. I wanted a hooded jacket and this hood is perfect for no helmet. I'm 6'2" 200lbs with long arms and it's good wither with some layers or without. It is very warm for the weight and bulk with fuzzy cloth in the pockets if your hand are cold. Napoleon pocket is inside the insulation a must for me and this one is a great phone pocket.

I always order a medium for just about any clothing, and all of my outdoor clothing is strictly in medium size. I was excited to get this jacket, but stunned because I couldn’t even engage the zipper it was so small.

Great jacket my only complaint is the OR logo is peeling off within a month of purchase. But a nice quality jacket otherwise.
