Great layering piece!

Love Patagonia! Their products are such great quality and I've had pieces by them that last 10 years plus! Bit pricey for a vest, so bought this during a holiday sale and absolutely love it. I'm 5'3", 115 lbs and a size small fit perfectly over sweaters and under my coat. I wear it in the house or as a layer when going out. Perfect piece!

I already had this vest in grey and now just purchased in black (so I have some advice since I have had it in another color for years). I'd say it runs TTS - I am 138lb, 34B, 28 waist and medium fits me perfectly. Size up if you want it looser and more oversized, but the medium is fitted but comfortable for me (not tight). Thought the black would be a bit speckled based on some pictures but it's pure black which I love. It looks really flattering on. It's warm but very lightweight. I wouldn't recommend if you're hoping it will keep you warm in super cold weather - I'd say it's perfect for fall in Colorado (where I am) or in winter time I sometimes wear it under a heavy coat to provide extra warmth. Good quality, feels soft. One tip - I washed/dried my grey vest a ton and it pilled badly and is not as soft anymore. I'm planning on taking better care of this black one and not drying it. I think you could still wash on cold/delicate but just hang to dry. One of my staple pieces of clothing, I wear it ALL the time. Go for it!
