I have too many vests and really only need this one. Ideal for mild weather outer to really cold weather layering. Holding up well and provides good wind protection on the chest. Considering buying a back-up if this one is lost or damaged!

This is my go to vest for fall to early spring here in the Northeast. Windproof, soft and durable. Plus love the retro look. Much more durable than down or softshell vests. Especially great for cat lovers, as their claws won't ruin this vest when you carry them. I find them slightly under-sized.

Decent vest but form fitting!

Men's XL Natural with blue trimmings/pocket. The length goes down slightly past the waist. The vest has a meshlike barrier sewn into the vest which provides the windproof barrier and makes the vest warm. The vest is Form Fitting (fits more closely to the body) so you can wear a shirt and lightweight fleece pullover underneath but nothing more or heavy since it'll be (too) tight! If you roominess, buy 1 size UP! For whatever reason, Patagonia chose to make the vest form fitting instead of the more casual, looser fitting. Patagonia should Stop with making clothes that focus on looks over functionality! Pockets have the barrier in front of it so your hands will be warm and small pocket holds small items like keys or money but there are no inner pockets. It's warm while wearing in cool spring nights and should be warm for autumn/winter wear. Hopefully, it'll wash well and won't shrink over time and the fleece stays soft. Buy when it's on sale as Patagucci products are generally expensive!
