Toundra Pro CSWP Boot
The Salomon Women's Toundra Pro CSWP Boot isn't some dainty après boot you'll see tip-toeing between puddles snowbanks. This burly workhorse means business when it comes to protecting your foot from winter's wrath. Salomon's waterproof, breathable Climashield membrane shields your foot from fresh snowfall, and the boot's Aerogel insulation ensures warmth in downright cold temperatures. There's also a faux fur lining that feels soft against the skin, in case your wool socks start to sink. Underfoot, the Toundra Pro features a dual-layer midsole that combines cush with responsiveness for all-day comfort, and the Ice Grip rubber sole retains traction in subzero temps so you can hike on slippery surfaces more confidently.

Perfect for snowshoeing
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I purchased these for snowshoeing. I own other salomon footwear - sneakers and a winter boot. In these I took a size 6. I have what I would describe as a normal average foot shape. I have many other salomon products - apparel, bindings, and backpacks. Salomon makes high quality sporting goods for sure. This salomon boot runs large and wide in the toe box. I initially ordered the 6 and 5.5. I am sending both back and just re-ordered a size 5. I suggest sizing down atleast a half of size if not a full size. There are not many choices in a serious winter boot for hiking/snowshoeing for women. This is one of the few and probably the best. I haven't used it yet, and will report back later. Fit is the first hurtel that we all must get pass.
