Doesn't hold up
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
- Height:
- 5' 2"
- Weight:
- 165
I've owned several pairs of these. Unfortunately they keep ripping out at the crotch and knees after only 6 or so months of wear (skiing, biking, hiking). I supposed I expected better quality for the price.

did not last
- Size Bought:
- 10.5 Wide

I bought this item to layer under ski pants. I am an avid skier and they did not last more than 10 uses. Two holes developed on the leg. (no falling the day the holes developed!) So sorry they can't be returned! Way too expensive for that little of use!

i bought the wrong size

I'm 5'6" and about 128lbs and ordered a small, athletic build, not big hips or butt. It was too tight (and I generally like my baselayer to NOT be loose), but I need a medium. If you're about my size, go with a medium.

Fit is a little weird
- Size Bought:
- 11.5
- Weight:
- 166
I bought an XS originally and returned it because it was too tight in the waist and ankles (although I’m tall so the ankle really landed mid-calf). I figured the saggy crotch was because I couldn’t pull the waistline high enough. Small is a little too lose and doesn’t hold well to my waistline so I still end up with a saggy crotch. It would be awesome if this came in tall sizes with longer legs. It IS cozy and warm, and thick enough to wear on its own without being see thru. It was a little itchy after it’s first wash but that didn’t last. I pretty much wear these daily since I got them and they don’t smell.

I am 5’8” 120 lbs. and got an XS originally. They fit well for layering but I wanted them as lounge pants, pj’s. I returned for a small and have extra room but not big at all. The black looks nice enough to wear out and about.

Love these leggings!
- Familiarity:

I love these leggings for exercise, walking, and under a dress or skirt. I will wear them under jeans and hiking pants. They run true to size and wash up nicely. I don't put mine in the dryer. The charcoal heather is so close to black that I am returning them simply because of the closeness in colors, and I have a pair in black.

Fantastic- for the tall, skinny folks

It's merino, it's Smartwool, it's a great baselayer. The weight to warmth ratio is awesome, and I don't find the wool to be itchy. It's definitely not cotton or polyester- you notice the wool, but I feel like I got used to the different fabric texture quite quickly. I'm 5'3 on a good day and 135lbs. I bought a size medium. They're definitely longer than I'd like, but they do the job, and I don't care so much that there's a bit of extra fabric at the bottom. (I've gotten quite used to this with outdoor gear brands thinking we're all twiggy folks.) If you're looking for a solid baselayer that will get the job done, you've found it.
