Why We Like The ThermoBall Eco Traction Bootie
After a long day backcountry skiing, you and your friends hike back to the yurt to take a load off. You slip on your North Face Men's ThermoBall Traction Booties once you're inside and start gathering supplies for dinner. The PrimaLoft insulation in these booties warms up your toes while the real rubber sole keeps you from slipping on the water your buddy just spilled while trying to make pasta. The ThermoBall's durable construction and water-resistant fabric allow you to step outside to grab some more snow to boil without a second thought as your shoes protect your feet from the cold, snow, and ragged ice near the yurt door. Since they're so comfy, you even slip into your post-dinner food coma with them still on your feet, so in the morning you can just hop up and get ready to ski.

Pull-on is implemented poorly
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- Double
- Height:
- 5' 10"
- Weight:
- 165
The material and sole are just what I was expecting for snow county, evening, relaxation wear. However, the heel pull-on is an excellent idea that was implemented poorly. The soft material that goes up the Achilles tendon folds down too easily under your heel as your foot slides inward. The heel pull is too low and does not function to help get your foot into the bootie.

My Dad Loved These and So Do I

I bought these for my dad for Christmas and I have rarely, if ever used a gift myself as much as I have these slippers. At least once every time I am home now I have slipped these on and used them. They are a little too small for my feet, but I keep slipping them on to run the garbage out or to run out to the shop or to haul in wood. I am definitely going to buy a pair for myself and my dad is a huge fan of these slippers and they fit him perfectly. I also like that this model allows you to put the back down if you need to put these slippers on quickly, but also allows you the option to wear them with the back slipped over you heel as well if you need to have a little more protection/stability.

Never have I imagined my feet could be wrapped in a warm cloud. Thank you TNF, thank you Backcountry! Notice that unless you're wearing thick socks, the size runs a bit large.
