Defective - unrideable after 3 months

- I've put it through the wringer
After ~1700 miles of use over ~3 months, one pedal developed significant lateral play (the pedal body moving side-to-side independent of the spindle). The issue was bad enough and happened quickly enough that it resulted in inflammation of my IT band on that side. There is at least one other review on their website citing the same problem, so this does not seem to be a one-off issue.
