Too many flats
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I received 9 punctures within the first 2 weeks of riding these tires on mixed gravel and paved roads. No amount of tubeless sealant could keep these tires rolling. Never in my 20 years of riding bikes have I experienced a tire so prone to punctures. If you risk gravel riding on this tire make sure to pack extra repair supplies because you will use all of them - and ride with friends, because you will need theirs too!! I reached out to WTB before leaving this review and was informed that I did not receive a defective tire and that they consider 9 flats in a week on brand new tires "just part of riding"..... I feel bad for anyone with WTB tires on their wheels because 9 flats in a week does not actually have to be "just part of riding" - plenty of reliable options on the market that won't shred themselves apart as soon as they touch the ground. Don't believe the marketing hype - this is NOT the "Adventure/Gravel" tire you are looking for
